THE GREENEST RESTAURANT IN THE NATION 2008
At the time it was built, Akasha was the greenest restaurant in the country. Designed to meet the LEED gold standard. We restored the landmark building, exposing existing steel, wood, concrete and brick arches. Akasha was the first restaurant in the US to feature no incandescent lighting.
